Dental Aid For Families: Child Dental Benefits Schedule Extended Into 2017!

Excellent news for children, and their parents, eligible under the Children’s Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)! The CDBS now extends into 2017.

The CDBS provides basic dental services to children. From 1 January 2017, dental services are capped at $1,000 over two consecutive calendar years. The two-year cap period starts when a patient first receives an eligible dental service.

Smart Smile Dental strongly supports this program and encourages parents to ensure that their children make good use of it. Good oral health habits formed during childhood are likely to benefit your child for life.
